The Yixing section of the G25 Changshen Expressway, as the main highway entrance and exit in the eastern part of Yixing, is a key route for vehicles traveling to and from the area, and also serves as the primary traffic artery for vehicles entering Yixing from other cities. The complexity of this section, along with its diverse and fragmented needs, prompted the Highway Brigade 4 of the Traffic Management Bureau of the Wuxi Public Security Bureau to select Audfly's outdoor directional loudspeakers to provide effective safety reminders to vehicles on accident-prone sections. This upgrade enhances highway safety management, emergency response capabilities, and strengthens traffic safety control in areas with frequent accidents, ultimately reducing the accident rate.

Solution

In early May 2023, after conducting an on-site inspection of the traffic conditions on the Yixing section of the G25 Changshen Expressway, Audfly provided a transformation plan utilizing professional sound field design to directionally transmit warning voice messages. By adopting a multi-point installation approach, six outdoor directional loudspeakers were installed along three key sections of the road, linked to the cloud management system, creating a continuous warning sound belt stretching for several kilometers. Through uninterrupted voice warnings, this system overcomes issues such as drivers missing or mishearing warnings, ensuring that warning messages are precisely delivered to the designated areas.

Customer evaluation

After several months of practical application, Audfly's outdoor directional loudspeakers have been highly praised by the traffic management department. Since the equipment was put into use, it has helped us achieve more precise and intelligent safety prevention, control, and road management. The system has provided efficient and effective warnings and guidance for vehicles on sections with concentrated violations, directly correcting illegal driving behaviors to a large extent. It has significantly improved the situation of trucks occupying the first lane, reducing road safety risks.
